Gasthaus zur Linde in Roth

Despite Corona, the team offers a to go service. Super tasty food. From carp to Schäufala to CordonBleu. Everything to go. Everything fresh, super hot and the most important thing .. Super super delicious. We pick up here at least 3 times a month. It is best to bring your own dishes, the meals will then be freshly packed in the own dishes. Saves waste and is good for the environment. Keep it up!

We have been going out to eat there for many years when we go on vacation in the corner. The food there is actually a holiday for the palate. You should have tried it. The waitresses also know what the guest understands by friendliness, despite the mask.

Table reservation for 11.30, an order for dessert is still accepted at 12.45; shortly afterwards we are informed that the table for 13.00 is taken again. No suggestion for an amicable solution (we would have liked to stay with our friends), instead a snappy "Thank you for your understanding" in response to our notice that this was not communicated when making the reservation. It doesn't work like that, people! Addendum: The owner, I rightly complain, about the fact that nothing was mentioned about the quality of the food. So: All the dishes ordered (Schäufele, Schnitzel, Trout, ...) were perfect and really good, the beer fresh and nice and cold, the dessert (eaten in a hurry) also very tasty, there is nothing to complain about . We would all have liked to have spent a while there in peace, maybe had a little more wine and a coffee. The point for me is that, in fairness, you should not accept an order for dessert at all or at least with the indication that other guests who have reserved the table will be here in 15 minutes. We would have expected THAT and not bring the bill while we are still eating. Ok, three out of five, because it tasted really good - fair play.

Corona unfortunately requires very spartan furnishings without decoration and flair. However, everything complies with the rules and is correct. The food was good and the service very friendly.
